How to Create an Add-On Domain in cPanel
This tutorial will teach you how to use the Addon Domain feature to add another domain name to your account. Once you get the hang of it you'll be able to take advantage of the feature with no difficulties at all but it could however be somewhat tricky at first so watching this video tutorial could be valuable. To fully follow this tutorial you need to be logged in to cPanel.
The Necessary Steps
- Click the Addon Domains link.
- Enter the new domain.
- Enter the directory name in your main account where this new domain will be pointing.
- Enter a Password for this new add-on domain.
- Click the "Add Domain!" button.
- You're done! The new add-on domain has been created.
- Since a new FTP account also has been created you should click the "Go Back" button and have a look.
- Click the "Home" button in the upper left corner.
- Click the "FTP Accounts" link.
- You should now be able to see your new FTP account.
