Reviews
Skeptical about our cheap offerings? Why not check out some reviews on Webhostingtalk about our great support, servers and uptime.

My Hawkhost.com review
I have been with Hawkhost for around a year now and they are by far the best web host that I have ever had. There support is by far the best that I have ever talk with. They go the extra step, I have used the there live support over 20 times with questions and comments. Every time they answer quickly and if they did not know the answer they would do there research. They even knowingly helped troubleshoot one of my gaming servers that is hosted on another provider. If there live support is off line, I send them a email and it usually gets back to me in less then 10 mins.
Hawk Host Review
I have been with Hawkhost for quite a few months now, I signed up on 12/30/07!

I would have to say Hawkhost has been wonderful host. Their downtime is kept to minimum and those service interruptions are generally upgrades, to server systems.

Tony and Cody are great and reliable. When I first signed up, everyone always talks about how low price can lead to unreliable host, but I have found them to be super reliable.

Hawkhost is a definite A+ host!
Hawkhost Signup Review
I've recently signed up to Hawkhost.com on the $3.95 product.
I had an easy signup with no problems, help from Tony and the team have been excellent.

even though I have just signed up with their service, I have experience no problems with server speed or downtime.

I'm using a product called RVsite Builder which they provide through Cpanel which Is a excellent product for building websites.

I recommend Hawkhost.com A++
HawkHost Review [5 months]
So, this is my 5 month review of HawkHost.
Basically, to put it in one word, their amazing.

I'm hosting couple of sites right now, I used to get around 30K unique a month for all my sites but now its lower.

I paid around $65 for one year, and that was a fantastic deal.

I am on their Advanced plan, 12GB and 120GB of bandwidth.

Speed & Stability
When I download stuff from the server, it usually max'es out my internet speed, so no problems there. My sites load super fast and I never had visitors complaining about slow speeds.

Uptime:
January - Monthly uptime:100.00% Downtime:39 sec(s)
Feburary - Monthly uptime:100.00%
March - Monthly uptime:100.00%
April - Monthly uptime:100.00%
I'm using Host-Tracker.
They always post in the forum if there is a planned maintenance ahead.

Support:
Ha! I don't even remember the last time I had to sent in a ticket (Thats a good thing).

Really good host and I suggest for other people to use 'em too.
HawkHost Review
I've been with HawkHost for about 2 months now, and have not had a single issue to speak of. Extremely knowledgeable support staff, very friendly and personable in answering questions, and they certainly don't make you feel 'stupid' for asking about whatever issues you're having.

They give ample warning for maintenance, and I've had no downtime outside of specified maintenance windows.

Very competitive on price and services offered as well. Though I've only purchased their basic package, it looks like they can cater to all needs

Anyone looking for a good, reliable host, give Tony and the guys at HawkHost a shout.

HawkHost - brief review
I have a reseller account with HawkHost. I haven't had it for more than 3 months, but I am very impressed with Tony and his service.

I offer hosting to a few of my marketing clients who need small sites - nothing major. But I've had occasion to ask a few questions. Tony's answers are always very prompt, and very professional, even when I ask questions most other folks would be tempted to answer with, "Well, dummy. . ."

I have a reseller account on another service, but I am seriously considering moving away from that one. Not only are HawkHost's prices much lower, I get better up-time and faster, better responses to tickets.

Not an all-inclusive, rake-them-over-the-coals review, sorry. But for my needs, HawkHost has been great.
HawkHost.com review
Hello guys, time has come to review my host.

I'm with HawkHost.com for 1 month. Before that I never registered a domain and never hosted websites out of myPC, I just installed apache+tomcat at home and an university a few times to develop Java web applications. So, consider me as a noob user entering on this world and they having to deal with that

I decided to register a domain and pay a host, firstly because I was pissed with Yahoo's SMTP restriction and its POP3 blocking legitimate email at the same time I keep receiving tons of spam everyday. I wanted freedom to choose my email provider and my own domain with as many emails as I wanted.

Since I was not going to use lots of storage (I don't need thousand of GB for each email either) nor bandwidth, I wanted a service as cheap as possible, with small storange and bandwidth, and still with unlimited email accounts, subdomains and addon domains: since the quantity of subdomains and addon domains doesn't increase host bugget, I don't see why to limit them.

As a total noob and without looking for reviews, I found HawkHost on Google offering what I wanted, with good price and still lot more storage/bandwith than I needed, and chose them for my domain and email house

Since then, I had great support, everything I couldn't do with cPanel (like DNS configs) they have been helping me, and sometimes when I was lost they did all they could to solve my problems. I can assure their support is very good and they are patient with noobs

Their speed is the same of other websites I access and of yahoo when it comes to email download, I don't feel any difference. Nobody that accessed my site complained about speed. I also noticed their DNS servers are geographically separated from each other and from host, which is damn good.

Everything was so easy and fast that I started to like it, and from a simple site I had with my PC configuration (which I used to host on geocities and transfered to my host to not let my domain empty), I created a blog first on blogspot and then transfered it to wordpress, added a few AdSense to it (which is still on US$0,00 and I may remove soon ) and I even was able to create other 2 subdomains with wordpress installed to test stuff. Everything easy and smart.

I also registered a few other domains, one of them being a .br domain. Its registrar is very poor and require DNS server configured BEFORE releasing the domain to me, cPanel was not letting me add this domain and they helped me too.

Another cool thing they helped me to do was let me redirect a subdomain to DNSExit.com, so that I can use my domain to point to my home dynamic IP.

Well for me and my requirements HawkHost.com is almost perfect and Tony Baird is really trying to help on support. I always talked only to him, on online chat and email.

Good:
  1. support
  2. unlimited subdomains and addon domains
  3. geographically separated DNS servers
  4. speed
  5. SMTP and POP3 over SSL
  6. price

Bad:
  • I need to contact support every time I need to do any DNS config
  • Live chat is not 24/7
  • I cant redirect all unused subdomains to root domain, to not let a wrong access return an error

I will review it again with 6 months and when I renew contract.
Review: Hawk host
Hi I just wanted to give these guys a review, I have been with them for maybe 3-4 years now and I have to say its the best hosting service I have ever had. I dont remember the last time I had a down time and Tony from Hawk Host is always there to help me if i need anything. I have a reseller account I use for my web design clients and they are all satisfied as well. Its hard to find a good reliable host and this is one.

Early HawkHost Review
So, I need a reliable hosting, but not overly expensive.
I'm still a teenager so clothes and life takes priority over web hosting

Anyways, theres not much to tel ya about HawkHost.
I asked some PreSales question, the guy there answered them quickly and with 100% perfect english

Been using them about 2 weeks now, no downtime and no slow loading time.

The server load is 2.1, but it says 4 cpu's
I'm guessing 2.1 is okay if it 4 cpu's?

Network speed is okay, It doesn't max out my connection like CirtexHosting does.
I'm on thier 12GB of storage/120GB bandwidth plan.
I think they oversell a bit, but as you can tell by my signature, I love overselling!

Don't know what else to say, overall, it's a quality host.

Domain sent to mod for verification.
HawkHost review
Hi, previously made a topic on how i lost my domain with 1and1 (unless i payed 30-40 dollar) well i just skipped it and started looking after other webhosts.
what i was looking for mainly was small-medium gb/bandwidth, SSH, php/mysql, decent uptime, good support and low prices.

there were a few on my list on qualified hosts, mainly DTH,ASO,hostgator. hostgator having high prices unless you got 1-2 years. ASO had low prices but quite few gb/bandwidth and DTH, well well their package seemed great but as im only having a small community forum for around 70 active users/day it was quite high to pay 16 $ monthly(or around 10 for half year) so i looked for other, i found HawkHost which had quite nice prices, perfect packages(for me) and plenty of upgrade options.
they have quite few reviews on this site. think there's 1 and around 4-5 with their previous name devotedhost. but anyway i went with them and bought 6 months using a 20% off. with each month costing around 3 dollar in the end. so here's the review.

(NOTE. only been customer for 3 weeks)
personal excellent support (think its only one person support actually... as i've only talked to tony on livechat) uptime have been good too. been some small issues but those only last for max 1-2 min exept for one which lasted a little longer but the support explained it quickly and all. had also prob with my IP being banned from the site (100% my fault as i wrote wrong SSH password more than 5 times and tony fixed it 1-2 min after i started chatting with him)and also it gives a bit of ease when the owner is active on this forum.

the only negative thing i got to say is that livechat is usually on business times in US (myself from sweden which is makes me have to stay awake late at nights. but i prefer livechat rather than mailing)

so conclusion. very personalized support, with good package sizes at low prices, livechatting doesn't take more than 30-60 sec before u get in contact with the support. server have no bigger uptime probs which i've noticed.(haven't really monitored) (edit: oh yeah a negative would be that their FAQ is like empty with around 3 questions, but not that i really care...)

Hawk Host Review: Sign up day
Ok, I just signed up for a hosting plan with Hawk Host and plan on doing a review at 1 month, 6 months, and 1 year for everyone. Today I will give my review of my sign up day.

Registration: 6:30 PM EST
Welcome E-mail: 8:30 PM EST
2nd Welcome E-mail: 8:35 PM EST

I signed up and once my welcome email came in later that evening I noticed my IP address was not present in the email and my nameservers hadn't yet resolved to the new host. Also, I signed up with a coupon that hadn't been applied to the billing system yet. I immediately went on the live chat and spoke with Tony and had everything resolved within 3 minutes of the start of the live chat. About 20 seconds after mentioning the billing issue I hit refresh on the billing site and Tony already had the issue resoved. He was kind and willing to deal with my numerous brain farts I had during our conversation. My site was up running its temporary page about 20 minutes after our conversation and the nameservers had resolved by then.

All in all, the problems were small and likely would have been fixed very soon had I not been waiting anxiously for the welcome email, as Tony seemed very aware of the problem as soon as I logged onto the Live Chat.

So far things have not gone off without a hitch, but the support has been present and quick when it needed to be, which I prefer to see over an automated system with no problems that takes hours to get support from. Congrats to Tony on making my first few hours with Hawk Host my best hosting experience yet.
